Anni Albers (1899-1994) was one of the most influential textile artists and designers of the 20th century. In 1949, she became the first woman and the first textile artist to have a solo exhibition at MoMA. She later explored innovative printmaking, solidifying her legacy as a trailblazer in both mediums.
